MDB Communications was founded in 1981 by Michael David Brown as a graphic design business. In 1987, current CEO Cary Hatch acquired the company and remodeled MDB into a full-service advertising agency. The agency has since received various honors and accolades regarding their work. MDB provides a number of services for B2B and B2C clients both domestically and internationally.
Located at 1150 18th Street NW in downtown Washington, DC, MDB Communications focuses on their motto: "Positive Results," stating their intent is to "build your brand, promote your product, service, or cause, and meet your objectives with inspired creative thinking." Powered by experienced leaders, MDB Communications has provided strategic and creative counsel for clients for more than three decades. Most notably, MDB Communications hired Richard Coad, the mastermind behind the Subway Restaurant "Jared" Campaign, as their Chief Creative Officer in 2006.〔()〕
